We will not allow Georgians to convert the Armenian church into Georgian destroying Armenian crosses and other marks of Armenian identity

Among 29 Armenian churches functioning in Tbilisi in the beginning of 20th century, now only one is active

Georgians never lived in Armenia hence could never build "their "churches there. The church was reconstructed ffrom Armenain Apostolic Orthodox into Chaldenian at Zakaria brothers ruling times coz one of them betrayed our church and became Chaldenian Armenian. The church was uses by Chaldenian Armenians and Greeks, has nothing to do with Georgians. But Georgians steal Armenian churches all over Georgia.

  • @TheKing2033

Obviously all Kingdoms on Armenian Highland, including Urartu ( which is Assyrian prononciation of Ararat) were Armenians, just don;t faint out of jealousy lol...and no, there is not Georgian church in Armenia, it is u who Georgianiase our churches, , get ur facts stright...

  • from this comments im losing my respect to georgiens ....

Jacquetta Hawkes, "The First Great Civilizations," London, 1967

"Yet the Hurrians did not disappear from history. Away to the North in their Armenian homeland, they entrenched themselves and build up the kingdom of Urartu."

In all ancient maps Javakhk was part of Armenian Kingdaom Urartu/Ararat

  • @VakhoK

    Urartu means Ararat/Armenia.

"Noting that the Hurro-Urartian peoples inhabited the Armenian homeland in the second millennium BC, Diakonov identifies in Armenian a Hurro-Urartian substratum of social, cultural, and zoological and biological terms such as ałaxin ('slavegirl') and xnjor ('apple(tree)')"

  • "Urartu??? Has Urartians been Armenian?! That is really childish if you think that Urartians where Armenians cause Hurro-Urartian languages has nothing to do with Indo-European languages and Armenian language is Indo-European and it is not proto-armenian language, besides Javakheti hes never been found any kind of evidence of Cuneiform script such as Uratian."-

  • @NikaPilot

Javakhk populated by Armenians has always been part of Armenian Highland/Urartu/Armenian Kingdom, stop your childish stories...

  • @BeautySavesWorld

How? How could Javakheti be historical Armenia, when Ivan Paskevich moved Armenians there and no Armenias have been living there before??? And yes Stalin gave many plenty of lands to Turkey and Azerbaijan including Georgian Saingilo to Azerbaijan and part of Ajaria and some other lands to Turkey but Javaketi has always been part of Georgia. Personally I stand against changing or remaking any historical or religious buildings or monuments since I'm archaeologist

  • @NikaPilot

Don't talk nonsense, nobody claims ur Georgia, Javakhk is historical Armenia, Stalin gave it to Georgia an Karabakh/Artsakh, Nakhichevan, Shaumyan, etc to Azerbaijan...and if u know the church IS Armenian why don't u oppose Georgianisation of it? How can the Go's house be taken from other ppl?
