Thanks, MR. Big is a great riff! Can this amp do Van Halen, Dokken, Whitecross & Yngwie type stuff with an overdrive pedal in front? I am thinking about the Soultone 2204 also. I am sure that the 1987ps will work great for blues also. The power scaling would be a great feature at most venues, including my church, for pushing the power section and getting some great power tube distortion.

Is that just straight into the amp or are you using a boost/overdrive pedal? It sounds great. I have Splawn Quick Rod that I love, but I am interested in this amp also.

Hi,
This is just the guitar straight into the AMP, using the powerscaling to ensure bedroom volume level with nice tone.
