this is actually really cool, for the most part, you guys are debating in a very political way and that touches me deep, i personally prefer the original but thats just me, no real reason, but anyway thank you guys for putting hope back in me for internet debates

@David2point0 This version also takes the meaning of the original song completely the wrong way. It's not a love song at all, as this video implies. It's about social rejection. That's why I personally think this cover is blasphemy.

Yeah, you *could* see it that way. And I personally have the same opinon as you, but I believe that the meaning of a song changes with each individual. And, if you scroll away from the video you can't hear that it's about something different. Well I can't, anyway : )
