bad just because a previous one is better. A song is good or bad because of your tastes and the way you hear and feel the song. That's it, there is no other reason. Trying to come up with other reasons just actually gives people bad image and shows that they missed the true purpose of the music and of the art in general. And btw, many things out there (especially movies and tv series) are cover from older ones, and some directed by bad directors. And yet you need to see them to evaluate them

Maybe, just maybe, you will like it. I mean, Fred is not a bad singer and he managed to sing with a voice that fits well within the sad feeling the band tried to transmit with this cover. Of course the cover isn't perfect (only the original is) and that "discover" part is totally unecessary and kinda ruins the song. Still, can you say the song is bad? If you can, explain why but without saying idiotic things like "this song sucks because the original one is better". A song isn't neither good or

This cover is meant to give a more sad feeling to the lyrics, unlike the original version which is more agressive and happier than this version.
With this in mind, what about you listen to the music again and put aside your knowledge of the band in question? (oh btw, this music is totally different from the band's style, which means it deserves a different evaluation without considering the band's previous musics)

What about you guys start looking at music for music sake? Good bands also make shitty music, as well as bad bands make some good music. True, the band defines much of their musics but it doesn't define all of their music, especially when that music is actually a cover.
Music, like art, is meant to transmit something (mostly feelings). Covers, in the other hand, are made to transmit different feelings without changing the lyrics, which is the case here. Didn't noticed the different rhythm?

excuse me but auto tuning is the only reason there's loads of shit vocalists out there, because they can make there voice sound good when its actaully bad. do u know what thats called???? cheating. do you seriously think cheating is the new revolution of music technology, well no its not. your wrong, auto tuning is wrong, and Limp Bizkits cover of this song is shit. this shit is the reason that good music is so fucking rare these days. i work in the music industry and auto tuning is for faggots.
