THANK YOU for seeing the preciousness of these dear, dear animals. ACTIVISTS... You make me CRY. The idea of animals suffering chained... dear God.

note... i do realize that animals could die of thirst, starvation, injuries, etc. while running free, but there's always a chance they won't, that they can forage or DRINK DEW in the morning. Radiactive or not.... thirst is unbelievably torturous for animals. Being tied up, locked in cages, a nightmare for them of unimaginable horror. Don't do that!!! You can find them later, or let them go!!!

@joanand13 thank you joanand13... thank you for posting!!!!! i can't believe people would leave their pets tied up, locked up, probably some in cages... they just can't see the horror of this. Why are people unaware?? I would take my hamster, or let him run free. Dog, let her run free if couldn't take. Cat, totally free. Better to let them have freedom than die of thirst. Horrific... PLEASE, if there are emergencies... let your animal run free!!!! It's better that than being tied up!!!!

I feel those people who left their pets behind should not have had pets at all... it's a shame the gov. doesn't just go in for a couple of days and get all the animals out and de-contaminated. Thank God there are angels like these people in the world.

You are to be commended for your actions and I pray that all goes well for you in every area of your life and that you have great success in your rescue efforts and a high number of family reunions for the fur babies and their humans.

@southrncalifgirl1 An activist is you too....because you just acted. You just encouraged people to act and sent these people an encouraging message. We are now finally beginning to respect other species as our own and seeing these animals chained and left to starve tears our heart out just as if they were little children or human..and so we should.....because as humans, we aren't better, just different.
