I have been picking up recyclable litter, and I even found cans that were decades old. you know the ones with the tear drop-shaped holes. I still recycled them too. New or old, the still get recycled by me. :)

Yes littering is really wrong cost, millions of dollars every year in sanitation cost, enforyed littering patrols, laws etc.

Screw the environmental movement. Make prisoners pick up trash on the side of the highway, that solves that. Quit trying to control every little aspect of our lives from the temperature in our home to what kind of tv we can own. I really enjoy charging around in my SUV and blasting my house lights during "earth hour" in defiance of you eviro-Stalinists. I will also never own one of those crappy mercury filled light bulbs, no matter how many left wing politicians you elect to do your bidding.
