For my friends that are having a little trouble finding the right download link, here is a short tutorial.

FYI, this video was created for some friends that were totally new to computers and even less familiar with video codec. I created this tutorial for those friends. I'm glad to see that it has been useful to others.

That said, you should be aware that I have not updated this video. There are small (and/or large) changes to the process since the time this video tutorial was created.

If the tutorial gets too far out of date I might remove it. But, for the moment I'm leaving it up -- just in case it helps.

And for those of you that find the video too long and tiresome in detail. I didn't make the video of the competent. I made it for my friends that needed all the help they could get.

  • Hello nuubtv. I've downloaded this program to watch movies online, and whenever i go to watch the movie online, it says that i don't have the video codec. Even though i just downloaded it. Could you give me steps to fix that or how to get it work?

  • I've downloaded it but every time I try to import the A.V.I videos on windows movie maker it says it cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on my computer do you know anyway I could fix this?
