@D6onGPS i completely agree, i too wanted him to win the double, but the giro was just to close to tdf and on top of that he had to be a macho in the giro and win by 5 mins. if he just controlled the tour with 1 minute he might have had a bigger shot at the double. Well that s just my opinion.

To all the people who say that Contador is doping, which is downloaded from the internet the 2011 Giro d'Italia and see it.Contador won the Giro d'Italia 2011 with bread and water hahahhaha, with all the cycling world watching for his positive He gave an exhibition win in the GIRO with more than 5 minutes ahead of Scarponi. @Mrlund93 yes, that is why he destroyed everybody in the giro. A whopping 5 minutes! he played with the opponents ( he let scarponi come back ). Oh and he won the giro solely on eating vegetables. Do you really think he would dope himself again while on trial? they are tested like 60 times a year + even the spanish board let him go cuz they know that such a little amount has no effect and no one uses clenbuterol anymore ( --> too easy to trace). Contador for me is the best I've seen and I've seen lots of champs. I had to laugh at some people saying about Schleck losing his chain, Contador at his best is in another league overall to Andy. Contador would have still won 2010 tour, no one says about when he allowed Andy victory on one mountain stage. Schleck's chain came off on the last day of the tour as well so it was obviously a mechanical thing that the his team should of sorted.
