I had already done some adjusting and figured it was a lost cause. It was still functional just as long as I didn't use the siding. I just decided to bite the bullet and re-do it.

what is the best scale of track to use on a 8x4 sheet of plywood with mountain scenes?

@thehobbyman123 N scale will allow you to do the most in such small space.

I'm probably going to have to move up to a bigger scale as I get older.

I began to wonder were thebige61 was with some new videos, always a pleasure to watch well made videos.
Question, how do i remove a section of track that is already ballasted without damaging the track..or atleast low damage?

If you've spike it take the spikes out and then run a thin utility blade underneath the track to gradually work it off.
