Didn't it though? First there was Ed Sullivan, then American Bandstand, Sugarman's Midnight Special, Saturday Night Live, Solid Gold, Friday Night Videos, and finally MTV. Today there is so much media, you can catch the latest pop music culture on your phone. But yes, Solid Gold once kicked ass...good times!
