Three Moods of Bageshree - Pt. Satyasheel Deshpande

Satyasheelji sings three bandishes that show Raga Bageshree in three different moods. From a performance in Pune, September 2011.

The first is composed by Satyasheelji:
लागे ना जिया, माने ना जिया
मन उठत, जाय बसत कहीं कहीं कहीं |

गान गात यही होत,
बिखर बिखर बनत जात
सृजन की यही रीत कहीं कहीं कहीं |

The second is a bandish by Pt. Dinkar Kaikini 'Dinrang':
रंग रंगीले प्रेमपीया सो खेलें सुरन की होरी|

दिनरंग डूबे इन रंगन में
खेलें ज्ञान की होरी |

And the third is a bandish by Pt. Kumar Gandharva:
तानन की तान की मैं, कैसे करूं बखान |

सूरत नई नई बनाए, बने रे
उगम सुर ले आघात दो री |
