It is so difficult aria, that in the Russian theatres is always missed (including Stalin`s Bolshoi one), as even nobody tried singing it. Only young Nicolai Gedda could sing it without any quality lost.

A remarkable performance by a FABULOUS tenor. Warmer than the crisper Italian style of singing. He has the perfect voice for this aria.

Janez Lotrič in a great slovenian singer with the international career (Vienna, MET, Paris, Japan,....). He's a great Manrico (Trovatore), Turridu (Cavaleria rusticana), Faust, Tonio (Fille du regiment), Calaf (Turandot) and many others.
