Emmylou Harris was supposed to play the part that Amy Irving played in the film,but when it was time to film Emmylou was pregnant with her daughter Meagan.

My cousin always wanted to be a movie star. He made it at 1:25 clapping his hands over his head. I was at this San Antonio concert also. The concert was free and was great the hardest thing was shouting for "Buck" which was the name of Willie's character. A good time was had by all. It was a pretty wasted night. I hung out with Slim Pickens after the show and he was cool as could be.

Well he has some years on him now.......if he had a 'normal' job he had be retired fore over 10 years atleast now. No Willie is awesome, we have alot 2 thank him fore

I think I'm beginning to tire of Willie. His most creative years are behind him and he just seems to do covers that put any and all material through the same lens.

His ability to sing different styles is unique.
Best example is his version of 'Stardust' which he handles with ease and delivers on one of the most difficult and haunting songs ever written.

gotta remember ...willie, waylon, etc. were the OUTLAWS..emmy lou and gram parsons, too..that's why they were different and remain so...not your run of the mill country crap

Its because country music is denegraded with crap like "honkytonk badonkadonk" and all the other crap "country" singers write these days.
