@b74z3d good point...I don't think jackson browne is in need of auto tune. Kinda funny how superior he is next to todays manufactured "artists" isn't it?

I agree with allof the above...Jackson will be known for his words and pricelessness of the gifted singer sonwriter he is forever. I was priveliged to do 2 reviews for a Louisville, and on in birmingham al a few years ago and it brings 1974 and the first time I saw him play in KY in 74 Once you listen to his lyrics and learn a song or two..your already gone@@@I could write about this all day..thanks to all his fans too for supporting him...

I have so many good good memories of all of the events in my life with each JB song I hear. The dude is a classic and a legend. Thank you for gracing the world with your beautiful and raw talent Mr. Browne.

As I read, and I think Jackson stated, that this song was written in response to CSN, (Wooden Ships), they were going away to Atlantis, and he wrote that he would stay here. Maybe I'm wrong. But it is my all time faves.

@tomh124 With due respect, and thumbs up: Any song written by Jackson in any decade is a work for 'Everyman," and a work of genius.
Yeah, it sounds sappy, using the tilte, but I believe he thinks of us all when he writes.
