I hate to compare raising children to training dogs... but

there are two schools of training, the negative punishment method and the positive reinforcement method. It's not hard to guess which one dog bite you one day.

Right on brother. Nature is ever changing and so must humanity. We need to step out of our comfort zones and question and change. All powers and authority must be put to the question. @Southernjuggalo63 Well, if you read the first amendment, it states the separation of church and state. I don't see any christian values in that. In fact, most of the founding fathers didn't believe in the god that you do. as many were deists. So even though they said God, they didn't necessarily mean your God. Just an FYI

the problem is that some conservatives keep their childern in little bubbles their whole childhood/teen years. They tell them jesus is god, which generically creates intolerance for other religions(

bible belt south). They create private christian schools for them to keep them away from "the world". The me vs the world mentality is wrong. It prevents you from looking outside the box, it creates a very" I have to follow the rules and not make a stand" mentality. It creates mockery for other view
