Wow, it all comes full circle. From how Sangoro was all strong and kicking despite being 84 years old pretty much shows that this is probably the ideal human life, a life inseparable from nature.

I grew up with this kind of Satoyama in Japan but living in Tokyo now. I think many Japanese who live in Tokyo actually came from small satoyama like villages.
