I love SP, but got some dissapointed with the last albums, (zeitgeist and american gothic). But i have downloaded the Spirits in the sky dvd, from the SP site, and its awsome, billy is bigger than before.

Man... I grew up on the pumpkins, learned to play guitar to gish through MCIS. This new stuff is disgusting to hear. Musically, I guess some of it is somewhat interesting, but melodically and lyrically its horrible.

And lol @ "true fans". Yeah, if you don't like what your favorite band is doing its blasphemy. Give me a break with that bull. You can't blind yourself with that mantra, this stuff isn't close to what he accomplished early in his career.

I agree, the kind of music they put out on their first three albums and especially on MCIS and SD is the kind of music no band will ever replicate. The new stuff is still good in my opinion, but when you consider it next to what Billy did back in the day it just can't even compare.
