I still have great respect for the men of the cloth, I'm a Christian, and I go to church every sunday, and midnight mass every christmas eve, and I believe that our father in heaven was watching over this pastor.

Requesting only 5 years probation as opposed to a prison term for the Man who very nearly killed him proves it beyond question.

The impression I got from Dale's interview was that he hesitated to shoot the burglar, at which point the burglar took advantage of the opportunity to grab the gun and shoot him. They never clearly state the details of the shooting, though.

Your future is NOT going to be sealed in Hell if you do your best and God knows you did.
According to Baptist belief, there's only supposed to be one thing that can seal your fate in Hell, and that's living a life without Christ in your heart.
I was only Baptist for 7 years, I was Catholic before that and nondenominational afterward.
Now IDK WHAT I am, but I'm positive God knows when you do your best.
