"Do you know who I fear the most, sir? You. Do you know who I admire the most, sir? You.
I wanted to be just like you..."

@TheAcutron we don't talk about that battle on account of our bigotry against the successes of muslims.

@Isaacyoun - I guess none of you guys know about Barbaros Hayrettin Pasa ( HIZIR REIS)In February 1538, Pope Paul III succeeded in assembling a Holy League (composed of the Papacy, Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, the Republic of Venice and the Maltese Knights) against the Ottomans, but Barbarossa defeated its combined fleet, commanded by Andrea Doria, at the Battle of Preveza in September 1538. This victory secured Turkish dominance over the Mediterranean for the next 33 years.

@Rok0705 Yi is greater. Genghis Khan invaded other people's countries , but Yi defended his own.

you know during the Imjin War...several Korean generals preferred the Katana over their swords since it was a more effective weapon. It is like how American soldiers in WWII preferred the Mp40 over the Thompson...
Yi Sun Shin perhaps the greatest hero ever lived~

And so died Admiral Yi Soon Shin, the greatest admiral the world has ever known. He died a upright servant of his country, never giving thought to his own desires but always faithfully serving his country to the very end.
One of my favorite quotes, "The battle is at its height; do not announce my death."
Even to his death, he was ever caring of his country which he gave up his life in defense of.
A truly great and heroic man, unrivaled by any who commanded the seas.
