I'm 17 and have made a decision to answer his call and said YES

@Luishazong It is not an extreme decision to join the priesthood. My spiritual director told me if God wants me to join the priesthood - He will bring you by hook or by crook. You just keep your heart and mind open :) Congrats on telling God that you trust in Him - it shows humility and submissive.

@martlut Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not think he was trying to be smart. Maybe he is just trying to see how much the seminarians really know, not to put them on the spot... Peace!

@legalman1980um you don’t need to be a seminarian to answer that one just open a catholic bible and you will see the commandments in their entirety and in the cc of the church as well. I think you need a refresher that would be a good place to start

Very good video. Good luck to future Seminarians. For those studying in the seminary, can you answer me this question:
Why do the Roman Catholic 10 Commandments remove the original Second Commandment and divide the original Tenth Commandment into two separate Commandments?

Thank you!!!

Sad to see so many hate comments about the priesthood. How dare so many of you call it a pedophile industry. You focus so much on the media and the corruption the media has. Unfortunately it has corrupted your mind in thinking wrongful of so many priests. I bet none of you have even stepped foot into a Catholic Church. Don't make wrongful judgements on us. I myself am a 19-year-old Seminarian for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and I am very happy serving God's people so far.

I am considering the priesthood but i am confused, i think it is an extreme decision and I don't know how to make it.
I just told God I trusted him, and to let HIS will be done, not mine.

@brianlovescod Pange Lingua. It is the hymn St Thomas Aquinas wrote for Eucharistic adoration. Tantum Ergo is the last verse of it.

what is the first song 0:29?
@evalewis1 It isn't a matter of signing up for something. We aren't recuited like so many think. It is a calling. Being married and having a family is also a calling in itself. That calling for me isn't so strong as being called to a priest is.
