Great video. Question though: Does anyone know why they show a shot of an Orthodox priest at 3:40? Our Orthodox brothers and sisters are wonderful people, but I'm just curious how they made their way into a Roman Catholic vocation movie...

I am also discerning the call to become a Priest in the Archdiocese. This movie when I first saw it on a retreat really moved and helped better my call. This is possible for any young man discerning the call. I myself am only 17 and plan on entering a formation house for the Priesthood right after high school. I will keep many of you in my prayers who are also discerning. Pray for me as well. May God Bless.

trying to find the music playing once Pope John Paul II is on around the 7:20 mark? any thoughts?

JPII was my inspiration to the priesthood also. I remember when I was 8 years old, my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said that I wanted to be like John Paul II. I had know for 2 years previous to that that I wanted to be a priest.

I think if I were to become a priest, It would have to be as my parish priest calls it a "mud on the boost parish" A chaplin in the U.S. Army to go into a foward area where death an distruction are all around you and be able to give that holy communion to the men an women that are giving there lives not just for out country but for the cause of freedom in countries that have be oppressed by terror and fear,

A noble cause indeed. I want to go into prison ministry myself, although my spiritual director thinks I would make a good high school chaplain

Talk to the priest in your parish or a religious community like missionaries or a sister. We are in great need of priests and I feel admiration for you. Most of all have faith. If God wants you in his service He'll provide. I know a priest that is in Mexic now but he served for some years here in the US and they helped him with his visa. I'll pray for you and you pray for all of us when you enter the seminary srodcan ok?
