Charlie Ekizian on Skeet Shooting

Quadriplegic Charlie Ekizian, president of Wheelchair Sports and Recreation Association, discusses how people who enjoy hunting or shooting sports can use special equipment that allows them to participate. When most people think of wheelchairs, they picture the tame chairs used in hospitals. There are many types of chairs available that are designed for all kinds of terrain.


Charlie Ekizian has had an amazing life. In 1968 he broke his neck in a diving accident and was told he'd be in a nursing home for the rest of his life. He used athletics to regain much of his abilities. He married, finished college, had a successful career and has spent the last forty years inspiring other mobility-impaired people to reach higher goals.
