Roberts Liardon - The Smith Wigglesworth Prophecy

In 1916, during a trip to minister in South Africa, Smith Wigglesworth delivered a prophecy about the greatest revival of all time to a young man named David du Plesis. That revival was a continuation of the Pentecostal Movement into the Charismatic Renewal that is still happening today. Then in 1961, God gave Rev. Tommy Hicks a vision of the next stage of that revival. Roberts Liardon is an author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian and humanitarian was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the first male child born at Oral Roberts University. For this distinction he was named in honour of the University Founder. Thus, from the start of his life Roberts was destined to be one of the most well known Christian Authors and Orators of the 20th century. To date he has sold over 7,000,000 books worldwide which have been translated in more then 50 languages and is known internationally, having ministered in over 112 countries.

As much as I Love Smith Wigglesworth I have to say this is possibly a misnomer.I have never in over 30 years read of such prophecies of Mr. Wigglesworth.In fact, Mr. Wigglesworth would most likely be upset at his name being used to promote books about him He believed in Jesus Christ receiving all the glory. The message to America today is not that we need a

Smith Wigglesworth or Kathryn Kuhlman.We need men and women moved and powered by the Lord for todays world and Christs Glory and His Alone.
