  • hi edna, what kind of food coloring can i use to color the gumpaste? ...

will it feel different if i use liquid food coloring?

  • @Kino1124 Yes, is bes to use gel or liqui gel...too liquid will change the texture in the gumpaste.

  • Hi Edna! You are fabulous, thanks for sharing your knowledge! I'd like to know what that board that you are using to roll out your gumpaste is made of - the little board right in front of you. Marble? Silicone?

  • @CgyCrazyCakes It's made from corian. Its in my website under Gumpaste tools on the Store. You can see it closer

  • hi Edna is gum paste the same as fondant?

  • @MyAlma81 no, fondant is to cover cakes, gumpaste is for flowers and delicate pieces

    Love them.

  • @SaSiDu I am seeling it now in my website. I use to buy it locally

  • Hello Edna, your flowers look amazing. I tried to find all indegrients for Gum Paste but I have huge trouble finding Tylose Powder. May I ask where you get yours from?

  • @951128AR You can bake the cake a week earlier but I wouldn't finish it until the day before. The most would be 2 days. The gumpaste flowers can be done months in advanced and after they are fully dry over a week in an open space you can store them in a dry place in a dry box/
