  • did lois only have one line to say? lol

  • When I watched the Superman collection on DVD, some episodes were missing. This and a few others were missing. I like how the title breaks apart when the earthquake shook.

  • I think this is when the Rotoscope was first tested by the Flieshers, man the movement is almost creepy.

  • My favorite villain here; Not just some common thief, or power mad scientist. This guy is a POLITICAL TERRORIST; All he wants is justice for his people!

Great back story here too. Raised on the reservation, chumped off by the white man, But he's real smart; goes to school learns the "white man's science"... makes a fortune selling his innovative scientific inventions, then serves his revenge up COLD.

  • since when does Superman take place in Manhattan?? What happened to Metropolis?

  • also, don't forget, they knew such atrocious acts could occur: sic Hiroshima / Auschwitz. (among other hidden incidents from history)

  • well my point was that people were panicking over the 'Domino Effect' of the rise of Communism - yet they could stand this concept of this? And here today anything that shows the Twin Towers still standing is considered 'disrespectful'. Oh shoot, forgot about War of the Worlds and 2012.

  • @nataleighglenna since it was made in the 40s, more than 60 years prior to 9/11 they had no way of knowing such atrocious acts would ever occur. keep in mind it is a fictitious cartoon. Superman Returns from '06 had a similar catastrophic plot even after 9/11. the point is that he saves the day.

  • Anybody notice the antagonists the descendant of a native american tribe?

    Still bothers me a bit...

  • A mad scientist welcomes to the Daily Planet and tells Lois Lane, Clark Kent, and Perry White that Manhattan belongs to his people. Then a mad scientist kidnaps Lois Lane and Superman must save her by the earthquakes taking place in New York City.
