It definitely isn't fair, it sure is a bad set of double standards that blacks can be racist, but whites can't. Even worse, they call each other "Niggas" I don't even know what that is, triple standards.
But that's beside the point, Michael Richards couldn't get work even before the incident. As he responded to the hecklers, he said "I'm just a wash up." He may have been being ironic, but it's the brutal truth.
Out of curiosity, do you have the fortitude to call a black a nigger to his face?
