Custom Action Figures By Blayne

This figure is part of a series of custom made post-apocalyptic action figures.
The general story I had in mind while making these figures was a "what-if" scenario involving automated cybernetics - 500 years after an apocalyptic war, the remnants of the weapons used still roam the wastelands, locked forever in their last programmed command. Not unlike landmines today, the weapons of wars long past can still threaten the present.
I originally intended the figure to be a homage to the novel A Canticle for Leibowitz by making a gas-mask wearing post-doomsdays Monk:

Instead, I made him a more general wasteland survivor, in the vein of a MAD MAX's "Raiders", or HARDWARE's "Zoners".
Sharing similar colors and hardware as the mechanized horrors who populate this figure series, I see this character as as a support unit: conducting repairs on damaged cyborg units in exchange for his continued existence in the wasteland.
Music: edited version of Title theme from 'The Book of Eli", mixed with a tweaked sound clip from T3.
Video shot with Canon camera on a motorized table. Video editing done using Adobe Premier Pro.
