Fuel mileage may have become the new horsepower lately, but don't expect to see evidence of the trend at the 2008 SEMA Show. Sure, there will be a few hucksters pitching their latest fuel vaporizers and magic tank magnets, but the other 99 percent of the show will be classic SEMA. That means hundreds of customized cars, blown crate motors and monster wheels that guarantee you'll never get 30 mpg. When battery technology improves( ie: Eestor, CNT battery ect.), the lamest,  most pathetic electric cars with the right motor will be able to keep up with if not out right beat a muscle car. And they are way more efficient.

I think the pony car/ muscle car era is almost over.
