In the first video of Gaming Soundscapes, we will listen to some songs from the first two games in the Gargoyle's Quest game series.

The games themselves are some excellent examples of early action/platformer with rpg elements, and boast some of the best soundtracks of their time.

Gaming Sounscapes: Music from the Digital Dimensions is a series of videos lovingly dedicated to videogame music.

  • The original Gargoyle's Quest game was a highlight of my childhood. I utterly adored it. Rarely a day goes by where I don't think about it. Thank you so much for making this video.

  • No... thank you, for remembering such a beautiful game!!! Happy New Year too!

  • how does this have no more views ? thumbs up !

  • @Claidheambmor i was in love with this game, when i finished it i just get from beginning and i was doing that for like 2 months. i played it from 7 in morning till 12 in evening. EPIC GB game

  • This is a great and informative upload, thanks! Although I think you may have switched around track titles in the annotations. I think the one you called "Overworld" is the Game Over music, and the one called "Quest of the Gargoyle" is the overworld theme.

  • absolutely incredible music in GQ1!!!!

  • Peaceful? Hah!

Firebrand was an agent of chaos, pure and simple. And besides, weren't all of those wimps from the demon realm fighting just for those Crests of Power in Firebrand's 3rd outing?

I mean, define "peace" in a demonic realm. Doesn't seem like much, does it?

I'd like to think that right after Firebrand saved(?) the demon realm twice, the rest of the populace started fighting again, as usual.

    Good vid, though. 5 stars.

  • yeah but theres hope they might consider it ;)

  • @noestoyfacil I wrote Capcom about this but they said there was no plans for Firebrand yet. I am very disapointed because I agree man, this gameplay would kick ass on today's consoles' concepts, even the wii (maybe more than not?)

  • i almost forget about this game, now with the pictures and music the memories come back, was the longest game ive ever played on gameboy, a really demanding and great game.
