to tell you the truth, even though we have voted in the neo conservative, he barely is a radicule in the sense that he is so power greedy, he doesn't change anything to piss off voters. He hasn't killed univeral healthcare, he bought some fighter jets that we needed and he kept our economy a little more stable in bad times than the U.S.

Canadians are wise to liberal elitists. Who are always looking down their nose at those who don't share their opionion and are considered to be uneducated red neck and sometimes even called racists. That's why we now have a Conservative majority government.

Part of the problem is that the Conservatives used Stateside campaign tactics to win. Also, when many voters voted they gave into the "lesser of two evils" mentality. While Harper isn't perfect, life would be much worse under "socialist" Layton and the NDP.
That's a weak argument.

hey steven harper how does prime minister layton sound, it sounds great to me its about time the average hard working canadian stand up for what is right i'm proud to say i'm ndp and to fight whats fair and just for everyone. not just the rich at the end of the day they'll still be rich. i don't want to be the united states, i don't want to be alberta i want everyone to be prosperous and have canadians work together to make our country even better
