700 HP 4-SPEED 70 PLYMOUTH DUSTER in car camera 2

this is a video i took inside my dad steve clukey's 70 plymouth duster at the north american nationals at newengland dragway in new hampshire 2008. the car spins bad off the line he pedals the car and continues on the run.

it was a pretty horrible e.t. on this run. probably the worst tire spin he's ever had in the car. i think it was 1.48 60' he usually has 1.31 -1.34's all day. i think he ended up running a 9.70 something or worse

Hey, What kinda transmission does your dad have in that thing that allows him to shift without the clutch like that ? Is that a Nash 4 or 5 spd or a regular worked Chrysler 4 spd ? Thanks.

well in this video it was a jericho trans. broke too many of them... now it's a lenco

ST1200 and still working out the kinks with clutch setup for that

i believe it's an old simpson jacket. and the car has run a best of a 9.30 145

he doesn't use those any more. he has a

sintered iron disk now. and he doesn't even have a jerico in the car anymore. he is as we speak putting a lenco in the car. yes. a lenco

oh and the car spun so bad it barely moved when it took off. that's why he acctually let off and got back on it. horrible traction.
