Why are NZ women still not being given the facts about the risks of abortion...
TX 5 August 2010
It's estimated that more than seventeen thousand New Zealand women will legally terminate their pregnancies this year.
The procedure is only legal in this country if the mother has satisfied two medical experts that there is sufficient risk, if the pregnancy continues.
But international research shows that some of the women who go on to have an abortion, still face risk to their physical and mental health. Some countries are reporting that up to forty percent of women who had an abortion, also developed breast cancer .
Those research results are easily obtainable on the internet, and several New Zealand organisations have been trying to inform the public about the findings... but the information is still not being included in literature about "women's health" or given to women who attend pre-abortion counselling.
To discuss the issue, Allan Lee spoke to Brendan Malone, from Family Life International.
Absolutely, women (or girls) need to be given all the facts about the consequences of abortion! I wish someone would of told me all the facts (so very long ago)! If I knew then what I know now, I would of chosen differently!

@AtheistTower a study in Denmark on thousands of woman has shown no link between first trimester abortions and mental illness. Women are more likely to develop mental illness after giving birth. You can find the article in the NZ Herald. The full research is here: New England Journal of Medicine but you have to pay for it.

@olive4naito The facts are that abortion does not cause breast cancer. Theres plenty of evidence to support this and I wrote about it on my blog. I'm sick and tired of pro losers and their lies.

@PALOMITA694
Rubbish, more problems result from abortion in the west than not having abortions, this stands out most significantly in regards to mental health outcomes.
