Love your display!! All the lighting is great. Very inspiring! I have also been collecting Dept 56 pieces since 1998 and literally have EVERY SINGLE Halloween piece and accessory. I'm trying to convince my husband that a room dedicated to my village year round is not that unreasonable :) Thanks for sharing. You did great! Happy Halloween 365 days a year! ^v^

My wife has been collecting Halloween pieces since 1998. The buildings themselves can cost a lot of money, especially the older, retired pieces. Until a couple of years ago, she simply displayed the pieces on a table with no "theme" created. By the time she created this layout, she had a large number of pieces which required a large layout. It's pretty easy to start with a modest layout if you have a smaller number of pieces. The only three restraints are creativity, time and money.
