Help! Our Imam is like a Gangster: with Br. Shadeed Muhammad

Some mosques in America hire an Imam with a open contract and grant him unchecked power. They then proceed to abuse that power by living foul, oppressing community members, collects cronies, and attacking anyone who disagrees with them. Is your masjid being run by GANGSTERS?

@hayow : The scholars teach us that ignorance is in degrees. He may be less knowledgeable than some, but more knowledgeable than others, (like you for example). As long as he speaks what he knows, may Allah bless him to benefit the people. Lighten up.

Many Salafees are ignorant on the issue with Shadeed Muhammad. He is 100 percent correct! The minbar shouldn't be used to discuss these matters. Where are we going to be in 10 years if the brothers continue on like that??

Subhanallaah! This is so true, and it divides the community. Anyone who dares to say anything about these behaviours is attacked and told they are put off the manhaj. And every effort is put into finding all their faults. These behaviors are appauling. May Allaah correct our affairs, ameen.

May Allah guide us all we do suffer from ignorance as the rest of the Muslim societies do but our dilemma is more one of practice and it is better to not use slurs like niggas and contributing to belittle a group of people and you do not find this from the Scholars talking and belittling their people with harsh names. May Allah grant us all with success.
