God when will hulu be available in australia?!
i will gladly sit through some ads in my favorite tv shows to support them... instead i'm reduced to downloading the latest shows because australian tv can't get its act together.
I mean we only just got dexter season three on dvd. Season 5 finnished months ago in the us.
Am i expected to wait two years to get my dexter fix. Common!!!

I was not aware of this freeview, I guess I watch little enough tv as it is
and my computer already has a tuner that receives all the digital channels they're pretty shit except for the ABC & SBS.

This might just be me putting the wrong puzzle pieces together here but perhaps the rip off of the Ford ad was a little Government cross-advertising "stimulus", would anyone else agree?

Whenever a person makes a mention of piracy in the media, they always feel obligated to mention the 50,000 jobs it supposedly supports, and how it's somehow hurting it.
Anyway, with drm, litigious blackmail (lawsuits that no one can afford to defend, whether innocent or not), deliberate market division (region coding) and constant lobbying, it is understandable why many wouldn't mind seeing the industry burn to the ground.

TV is the same everywhere...pathetic. Its the same in the UK, Italy, Spain, Ireland, US, Germany. It doesn't matter where. Programming full of dross and endless repeats of the same dross. Now we even have dross in high-definition.

I read an article in my tv guide about 'hit and miss' shows that the stations have been playing. half of the misses were actually good shows, one being how i met your mother. but instead they put some piece of shit like it takes two or whatever the hell is on tv these days. hell, i don't watch tv anymore. who does?
