  • beautiful, what'ss the name of the soundtracks you used?

  • @dovywiarda Thank You very much. The Music is from a score taken from the film " I am Legend." The complete Chomsky quote is "If you want to control a poplation and keep them passive, keep beating them over the head and let them look somewhere else one way to do it is give them a God to worship." taken from a filmed DN Interview Feb, 17th 2011

  • great video. beautiful!

  • Of course your quote of Ben Franklin is only a half sentence. The full quote is:

"The Way to see by Faith, is to shut the Eye of Reason:

The Morning Daylight appears plainer when you put out your Candle."

Poor Richard’s Almanack (July 1758); the first portion of this sentence is often quoted without the context provided by the complete statement. It was quoted for a century as a statement of his admiration of Faith. Only by truncating the sentence have atheists tried to use it otherwise.

  • God Is Dead ---Neitsze

    Neitsze Is Dead ----God

Professing to be wise, they became fools...

  • Exquisitely enlightening!

  • Nice collection of fine quotes from great thinkers.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @PapaWilk In religion and politics people's beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the question at issue, but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.

  • I like the video very much, however Mr. Twain's quote is difficult to read. I'd much appreciate it if someone would kindly transcribe it in a reply. Thanks for the terrific video!

  • @leptismagna10 When you regularly justify or whitewash the Holy State's crimes and focus all attention on the 'other', what else are you but a worshiper of the state?

Hitchens is just spouting a more eloquent version of George Bush's "why do they hate us for our freedom".

For Hitchens it's they hate us for our freedom and they're setting up a muslim empire, and no evidence is required. In fact one must dismiss all evidence that exists:

Hitchens regularly invokes George Orwell as if he was following in his lineage, then says outrageous claptrap like that the United States 'liberated' Iraq. Yeah, I'm sorry but you need to actually look at facts and evidence, you can't simply pluck these things out of thin air. Orwell had a term for believing two simultaneously contradictory ideas and finding nothing wrong with it - doublethink.
