$cientology Protest July 12th, 2008

SoCal Anonymous gets on the Anonibus (well, sort of).

Some Anons were able to rent us a double-decker tour bus in order to ride around Big Blue due to the fact that $cientologists obtained permits that prohibited us from walking around the surrounding sidewalks. The $cientologists were celebrating some maiden voyage event at the Hollywood Org and for some reason, it required them to shut down the sidewalk around the building. We were just about to ride the bus until the driver told us that the company that owns the bus backed out at the last minute because the $cientologists threatened or intimidated them through legal action. They claimed to the owner of the bus company that he had rented his bus to terrorists who were planning to use the red double-decker bus to attack the 'church' with bombs (who in their right mind would believe such a thing?). As a result, we had to abandon all hope of using the bus.

We were going to protest around the Hollywood Org building via bus since the Scientologists got a permit to prevent people from entering the sidewalk that surrounded it. However, the bus ride was put to the halt since the Scientologists intimidated the bus company to prevent us from using the bus.

wow can't believe the bus driver was too chicken, if when you guys called in for the bus said about the Co$ thing, you could have said wear a mask or something...they probably would have done it then

Next time we need to hire one of those 'copters that were flying over Hollywood all day. Having said that, Co$ wouldn't probably get a permit banning us from their airspace.

Happily they totally failed to destroy lulz and I think many of us felt even more determined to party and protest in equal measure.

Wow, Co$ has still little bit power in USA. In Germany I can't imagine them to even shut down a toilet.

I understand what you mean about the bus company but I blame them. We also fight for their free speech, not only ours and what happens to their company when the scilons have to say everything. They should have helped and supported anonymous to show to the sclions that they don't rule the world.

fail bus company has mouths to feed and probably not much of a budget for an onslaught of stupid scilon lawsuits. i don't blame them. i blame the scilons-what kind of church does this? none.
