A setting by composer Paul Lewis of Yeats' haunting poem "Stolen Child" taken from "Childe Rowland" a film of the British fairytale by the Chagford Filmmaking Group.

The lyrics are:

"Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand."

  • Absolutely - we'd have loved to have the whole poem too, but it would have been too long an interlude in a half hour film.

  • Thanks very much for the suggestion - the poem is now added to the info section.
