The Echo Of A Serenade

I am playing this beautiful tune in a Latin style and have recorded it in 3 parts. The two accompanying parts (left and right channels) were played on an Ohana TK-35CG. The melody part (central) was played on my Pete Howlett tenor. Each part was played in one take. All parts are improvised.

I took the photographs at the Montmartre Cemetery whilst visiting Paris for the recent Ukulele Bazar. There is a beautiful sense of quietness about this place in the heart of Paris. I visited early on a lovely Spring morning. This tune seemed to fit nicely.

Yes, there were a large number of cats in the cemetery.

We used this song as a rumba in the dance I used to play in. That is basically how I've played it here (though a little bit of tango creeps in here and there).
