this is how i sample with garage band, and use the pads on an mpk.. i dont use this technique anymore, but just cause i dont, doesnt mean you cant learn how to do it, so enjoy! just remember, how intricate your samples get depend on how you chop up the audio.

  • Does anyone know if you have to pay royalties when you take a sample from someone else's song, or doesn't it count when you've manipulated the track? That's if you want to sell it at a gig or whatever.
