  • The professor gave us a few primary source documents to work with, mostly British and German sources. Had I more freedom, I would used American sources.

I blame the second war on hitler. A man greedy for power! disgusting.

  • The worst war ever. Just horrible. All because of a piece of land of 10 kms wide, in France. Those young boys experienced a real hell on earth in that horrible trenches. Gas, barbed wire, tanks, etc. Just needless. Too many lives lost, and all the survivors weren't that lucky at all: Trauma, an, like we call it in Holland: TheTrench-syndrom. And probaly Trenchfoot either. The human kind needs to learn of this, but nope, 21 years later a new war began. Again, just needless.

  • that and its almost 100 years old evr man in this war was born in the 1800's

  • truly superb excellent video

  • what a waiste of Life so many young men hell boys even :(

  • Brave men did their duty for their countries on all sides. What a giant waste it was though. Probably the stupidest war ever fought. We as human kind SHOULD have learned from it but did not.

  • the greman tank were the worst

  • we here in england, have 3 living veterans from WW1 left...a generation was lost!

  • I'm leaving in the place where was the biggest battle on eastern front (controffensive on Tarnow-Gorilce line). The battle was started in the night from 2 to 3rd may 1915. There are so many cementaries (something about 400) and so many old trenches in here. It's easy to find an ammunition, straps, knifes and other stuff from these years. It's terrible. I hope there will be no more war like this. Sorry for my english!
