amazing...

google maps and other terrain modeler is not as precised as the autodesk can. Because google maps and others used only photogrametry in tracing contour. unlike autodesk, the data is a surveyed data taken either from electronic survey instrument or from conventional actual topographic survey. Again for precision and complete data, autodesk is the best.

Respond to this video... me, im using all products. When making building projects, i used Viz and 3D Max for presentation, and finalized at autocad for detailing. When road project, Civil 3D and Land desktop. When Landscaping, 3D Max and Revit. Of course there are some third parties software to be used for photo editing and 3D landscape tuning.

thats fine..... those 3D's software of autodesk are designed to work fast visualization of a project or job. each softwares has an intended application. But after all, when precision and complete data is called, you will end up to autocad. its the only powerful software that will give you complete details and datas from design to construction. Endless precised 3D sections/drawings you can build at your own. That's the essence of auctocad.

Respond to this video... thanks to autodesk, you made engineers expands ideas in a short time. A very big help for us designers and constructors.

not very long, autodesk has develop different softwares intended to do a certain job to streamline the amount of work to be done. If you are to present a realistic view for the project, used 3DMax, Viz, Revit depending the type of structure that those 3-products will fit. When the concept is ready for detailing, all works will end to AutoCad. Because its the only software that can give you the complete and precise data of detailing and precise 3D works. Everything can be drawn by autocad.endless
i wonder how long did it took to do all this 0_o
