I'm a General Electric Model No. 3-50150, it's an old mono cassette recorder.
Any cassette player should work though. You may need to adjust the volume when loading until you get it to work. If you are using a stereo cassette player try using a mono plug on the cable if it doesn't work.
I prefer to connect it to the netbook though and record it as WAV file then convert to MP3.
