Tank Man (now with more raw footage)

If you don't like the background music, you can just mute the video or turn off your speakers. It's that simple.

Anyway, I know other users have previousy uploaded this video, but I couldn't find a version that features as much of the available raw footage as possible in one "seamless, uninterrupted" stream. Therefore, I spliced together footage from the documentary, The Tank Man (2006), removing narration and intervening talking heads, in order to show only the remarkable courage of this man.

Tiananmen Square protests of 1989..students protesting communist policies against citizens rights..and you are right about the importance of this film and the heroism of the photographer. Had these images not been preserved..this story would not have had the impact it did..and the courage of "Tank Man" would not have been known..and we would have missed the inspiration that it provides. The stories about the protests,Tank Man, and the journalist are well worth reading..you can find them online.

Funny how the purpose of those tanks is to kill probably dozens of protestors, yet they let one guy stand in the way.
