TOYOTA AURIS HSD 2012

Toyota Auris HSD 2012 Hybrid Synergy Drive system delivers the energy-saving qualities of a series hybrid, Toyota's latest generation Toyota Auris HSD Hybrid Synergy Driver powered by 1.8 liter 4-cylinder VVT-i gasoline engine, 1,798cc Atkinson Cycle VVT-i engine develops 97bhp at 5,200rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The high performance permanent magnet synchronous 60kW electric motor generates a maximum 207Nm between zero and 13,000rpm, a powerful electro motor, generator, high performance battery and a power control unit. A power split device with a planetary gear system combines and reallocated power from the engine, electric motor and generator according to the car's operational requirements.

207 Nm at 13,000 rpm would be ~282 kW!!! 60 kW is achieved at 6,400 rpm, which corresponds to ~89 Nm at 6,400 rpm. Max. torque of 207 Nm has to occur below 2,766 rpm (in order to fit within 60 kW). Most probably, it was a typo and max. torque is 207 Nm at 0-1,300 rpm.
