The state of Utah is set to execute a condemned killer by firing squad shortly after midnight Thursday, reviving an old West style of justice that hasn't been used for at least 14 years and that many criticize as archaic. (June 17)
@Galactis Yes so naturally they will rationalise it so that they dont feel guilty all choosing to believe that they had the blank. Only a logical realist will admit that there is a one in five chance of being innocent. The rest will just use that to stop psychological trauma.
@1stNightingale That would make sense, if the blank wasn't in a random gun. So technically, who ever is shooting, doesn't exactly know if they had the blank or not. Makes it kinda pointless to have a random gun with a blank in it.
@Galactis I think its something to give the firing squad peace of mind thinking that they were the one who had the blank. So no-one has the guilt and psychological damage.
5 shooters will be in the room, shooting him...4 people will have a bullet, 1 will not...?
Why does it even matter? Is it like...turning an execution into a game or something? Like..."Aww man! I got the gun with the blank in it! Oh, you guys got me alright!"
Good riddance, Kill anybody that has killed another human unless somebody kills somone that has killed there wife, child or parents just for the hell of it
@brokenbones199 Americans have a tendency to "waste" bullets. They waste them on their spouses, children, parents, bosses, classmates, innocent civilians, ext...ext.
the lady at 0:19 is a DUMB BITCH. she's a professor?? really?? She says there is "evidence" of lethal injection being problematic but she doesn't even mention any of it. she is clearly making this up.
@1stNightingale Ah, ok. I see.
