I've been continuing practice on this piece, and it's improved quite a bit. Considering that I haven't posted anything in a while, I decided to put this up. I like the biginning, but the middle still is a little sloppy. Plus, my pet bird wouldn't stop squawking, so its cries were a little distracting. Otherwise, it's alright. Enjoy!

  • keep up the good work

  • ...haha

great job man, keep working on it! repetition makes perfection as i like to say.

FYI bobbydrake99... speed IS part of expression and is important. also, to play with clarity is good, but to play with speed and clarity in a chopin piece is greatness.

im not saying slow is horrible and never should be done, everyone has their own preferences and practice techniques, but to say that speed isnt a part of expression in music is just lacking knowledge somewhere in the musical department...

  • @bobbydrake99 oh well....i mean i would mess up too he probably has the potential and its a hard peice. he probably cant play it all but at leaste hes trying :)

  • Dude, You're in a hurry. I know speed is important but you missed out some or most of the note in the middle section. But You have a potential. Just listen to the running notes and imagine why it's subtitled "Revolutionary". Speed is different from passion and expression. Speed is not technique, clarity is. Take this positively as I did when I had this piece before. You have a potential. Keep on improving and love your craft, our craft as pianists.

  • crazy skills craig

  • dude your bird's like, "yeah craig, eek eek!!" haha, you're awesome man

  • AHH the bird is shrieking! lol, I love how you stopped in the middle of a couple of those runs in the middle of the piece and just made something up to get you to the next downbeat. Not terrible though. This was posted a while back- my guess is you're a lot better at it now?

  • whooha, this piece is really so much harder than all ur other stuff... i like this second version better, it's more expressive :) i'm only a terrible amateur, but one of my dreams is to learn a chopin etude someday :) if this really is the easiest etude, it will probably take me about 10 years to learn such a piece :))

  • Ohh great job! But you should change your pedal a little bit more cleanly. It's like paint. If you dont wash off the palette off completely it turns a gross brown colour after a while.

I love the little shrieking in the background:)

  • You are really greate!!!
