Envious, of what? Allow me to open your eyes to what is painfully obvious clear to every car and Mustang enthusiast but you. You're the owner, or past owner of a 1968 Mustang and the fact that you possess a real Shelby hood and trunk lid doesn't make you the owner of a Shelby Mustang. Additionally, when you print in the title of your post, 'Ford Mustang 1968 SHELBY', that's not a tag line my friend it's, down right misleading. You've got a nice car, I'm sure but, it's not a Carol Shelby.

When I say "Ford Mustang 1968 Fastback Shelby" in the headline, then there's nothing saying that the car in the following video must be video where you can see a Shelby. The word Shelby means just what I said, the hood and the trunk, so it isn't misleading it's telling that the vid has to do sth. with a Shelby, a Shelby hood and the trunk.

I NEVER said that I was the owner of a Shelby Mustang.

So you don't have to open my eyes, alright?

wie geil, das is arbeit nen auto neu aufzubauen, ich kann das nen bissel auch wertschätzen weil hab mir mein moped auch neu aufgebaut, is zwar nichts gegen nen auto aber ich weiß wieviel arbeit sowas macht^^

Irgendwann hole ich mir auch ne Mustang oder nen top Opel Admiral B, das sind top autos mit mega sound und design das überzeugt =)

Thanks. Here are some details:fe390 bigblock with a hot crane cam, headders,aluminum heads,ported, mechanic high lift valvetrain!, pop up forged pistons,427 crank, 427 dual 4v lowriser intake with a holley 2x390cfm setup,a c6 transmission with shift kit and a 9inch rear 3.89:1, since two weeks with 275/40/17 mickey thompson semi slicks.i built this car in one year on a sandblasted body.its faster than a bmw m3 or a sl amg, arround 4.5 sec 0-60.enough for a 40 year old ford...

@JIMMYJIBLETS mhm...without an exhaust :-D well it sounds cool, really, but I would use one pipe for the one site of the V and another pipe for the other site of the V :-), means having one pipe on the left and on the right side :-) Say, isn't it standard???

who cares whether it's a shelby or not, it won't matter after you're dead and gone anyway. The fact of the matter is, is that this guy is never gonna sell that car, and neither would you if you had it. I'd kill for a car like that
