The main problem here is that the speaker elevates Jesus to a prophet without any support of that claim. I think he was arguing that the bible leads us there, but he is trying to prove that the bible is reliable by arguing Jesus says so in the bible. Ridiculous argument. Also, even if Jesus DID approve of the Jewish Torah which would have had to been to what he was referring, he would have no knowledge of our modern bible or 'Christianity' which varies wildly from Jesus' Judaism.

believe it or not it usually starts on moral grounds then goes from there.
