@WiiClassic2usb When you say sludgy, i think of their remake of Tsumi to Batsu. that too me is sludgy. Moab is more, not boring, but not as deep. its very garage band sounding. too much noise/grain. I feel you on Ruten no Tou, that song just makes me want to run and jump. its so free. especially the first 2 mins in. I like their album versions on their recent singles i.e. hydra 666, hageshisa, lotus, DS. DSS is like a you're stuck in current and you can't escape/dying but there's beauty in dying

@Thisshouldbeblank - MoaB, to me just seemed too sludgy overall, but DSS is like if MoaB & Uro had a baby. It doesn't quite have that ''universal'' appeal, but even the experimental stuff is intriguing and you catch new things in each listen, the singles of course are lovely earworms. Vanitas had me tear up almost as bad as Mushi, Ruten no Tou just lifts you up and carries you. And the contrasts are great, something MoaB coulda had more of imo to make it not feel as stagnant.
