Chaka Khan/Rufus cover sang and mixed by John Hurd Jr.
I have always loved this song. Recently I have noticed that the writer must have been writing about God. From a truly saved point of view ,it makes total sense.:0)
I used the"How to create harmony vocals" formula on this mix. I love what the voice machine and the antares can do when they are daisy chained together.
I'm going to add a burning sax thing on the end of this piece..I just wanted to post something fresh so that everyone would know I'm still funkin..:)
@anewgroove thanks Paul

@lloydpopp13 don't worry about the talkbox/vocoder thing..I will make more of thos this summer too..This is just a vocal track for me...I want to add a sax solo on the keytar on the end of this one. Thanks for always giving me your view of what I'm doing..it's fun...having the technology to make crazy videos is da bomb for any entertainer.
Thanks for all the feedback..you are so funky.:)

still funkin for sure Uncle Hurd! the mix between antares program and the other makes a new colour of sound. but with all of my respect i like your Talkbox & vocoder playin' much more than this antares usin', but hey this one is so cool, i miss this kind of video from you, reminds me of your old video like "computer love" vocoder version with the video editin and stuff :) keep the good vibe comin Uncle Hurd! :D
