Minecraft Biome Tour by rail

A minecart ride through what has got to be every biome in minecraft. Heavily inspired by (and thanks to) Minecraft Interstate(s) by brt5470. Building materials supplied by invedit, manual labor supplied by ME. The video was recorded while sitting in cart in front of a powered minecart.

"Yeah, it's really long, but is it long enough?"

Length of track = 9+ km
Time to walk from start to finish = ~45 minutes
Minecraft time to travel railway = ~2.5 days
Time to build railway = ~20 hours spread over 8 days
Size of world = 66.4mb (23,221 files)
Speed vs. powered minecart = 10x
Animals harmed during the production of this railway = 0

Note - for some reason, the blur cut out during the first few seconds after full acceleration, heck if I know why...

a square rail, Press f3 when at the corners, and mark co ordinates. Hoping to create a numerical map. This game is unbelievable and in my opinion could not be compared to any other game. I may come back to this video and post my findings and coordinates in the comments when i am finished my map ( if possible)

I have been doing the same thing in 1.8 at sea-level,(bad idea, because animals stop the minecart dead in its tracks) for at least 30 hours on survival mode. Not counting the time spent gathering iron and gold for rails and power rails. What i found is a vast ocean, so i made base. Created a couple maps, and found what i think is the end of level? For some reason the map won't show terrain, water or anything. it stays beige. So i changed direction and kept going. I hope to create a square rail
